All roads lead to Ringmer

And so the incredible appeal of Sussex strikes again as Lorraine, who has come half way around the world to live in England permanently, found a place to rent in Lewes and started work at my local opera house Glyndebourne. It's cool to have another Kiwi around even though I am talking about my ever shortening time here and she is settling in for the long term. I handed in my notice at work weeks ago and I have only 5 days left there. Then I am off to America to catch up with the girls I met in spain, Stacey and Brie, and over to Colorado to see Levi and Sarah. That should provide me with plenty to talk about since I'll be traveling more than 10 miles from home which is all that I have been doing for quite a while.

Acceptance letter from Oxford
My letter from Oxford

I think the most exciting thing to happen recently was the letter I got from Oxford, officially offering me a place on their MSc Computer Science course, which is kinda cool. According to my watch it's been 291 days since I left New Zealand and I have only 40 left until I land in Auckland. I'm not entirely sure what I'll do when I get back to NZ but returning to Auckland Uni is a possibility. I hear that Crater Lake is due to burst so I'll be hiking up there with Dad to see it while it's there.

best wishes from
