Well I have started my Eurail pass and now I have 2 months of trains to look forward to. Last night we took a night train and it had airconditioning and lights, the people in the cabin next door didn´t. Luckily we had a pretty good nights sleep. Craig and I are spending a day in Madrid on the way to Bilbao. We went to Museo del Prado which is an art museum and it holds a very famous painting called Las Meninas by Velazquez. What makes this painting cool is it is painted from the point of view of the King and Queen who are having their portrait done by Velazquez. So, you can see Velazquez painting the portrait, you can see the royal subjects watching the king and queen, an odd midget, and the king and queens reflection in the mirror at the back of the room. Even better still the Museum was free because it was Sunday. There is also a couple of paintings by Goya, the famous ones are kinda disturbing (civil war type death scenes) but there is a portrait of a nice young lady that Goya was commissioned to paint but he had an affair with her and made a second nude painting for himself! This is thought to be Spains richest woman in Goya´s time. A bit of a player, and you can even visit his tomb but Craig and I held ourselves back. We also went to the markets and admired the old Royal Palace (Bree I looked for a tall dark prince type but they were lacking), sat in a park and then went hunting for airconditioning and spent an hour buying shampoo and burning photos to CD. Tomorrow we are going to Bilbao and from there we keep changing our minds. Who knows what after that.

Hey Babes!
How are you three!?! I am missing you tonnes and tonnes! I have been reading your posts though and keeping up with your very exciting adventures that I am sooooooo jealous of! Lucky things! I can't wait until I get to travel! I'm saving up lots and lots!
Well, my 21st went really well and I had a great night. Most people that I have spoken with have said that they had a good night too. My only problem was that I felt like I didn't get a chance to talk to everyone! I felt like I was constantly saying hello or goodbye to people and not getting a chance to talk about anything else! Oh well, I guess you get that. Thank you Bronnie and Nina for your lovely speech and I got to see all of you in the little movie that Johnny put together which was nice although it made me sad to see all of you and know you weren't there! :(
Other than that I dunno if I have much goss for you really! I suppose you have all heard about Peter and Anna which is the cutest thing and Peter looks happier than I have ever seen him so that's great.
Rick leaves soon so we are going to his goodbye party soon. We are all off down to the snow in a couple of weekends time which should be interesting! I have never been skiing or snowboarding before and as un-co as I am I don't know how good I'll be at it! But it should be fun anyhow! :D
Well, I had better get back to work now as I have lots of work to do as per usual!
Take care of yourselves and keep updating us!
Love you all lots and lots!
Love Bex.

Nevermind about prince charming, I'm sending Jo over in about 10mins to help with the search! I gave her your cell number so she can catch up with you (possibly), she'll be there for about 4 months.
By the way do you ever find yourself wondering whats going on at the Green Pub or Takapunani? Well try this out http://www.spencerbyron.co.nz/webcam.html heehee, not as good as the one in Chch though aye.
Love you heaps
Bree
